While we were waiting for the movies to start the other night, we saw a new trailer for The Clone Wars. I gotta say, I'm pretty excited. I'm not normally one for animation (I've given it several tries, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, all that stuff), but this looks to be pretty good. All but Dooku - Christopher Lee's face wasn't boxy and wasn't near as looong as they show him in these.
There was also a scene where Obi-Wan (in clone trooper armor!) was at Jabba's Palace (they showed the palace, showed a couple of people walking past the great Krayt skeleton), and I heard something about taking down the Hutt clans.
Now, let me say what bothered me about this.
The Clone Wars, as we know, is set between Ep II and III. In Ep IV (the special edition), we see Jabba walking around the hangar waiting for and talking to Han. By Ep VI, he's so big that he has to sit on his dais. This trailer showed Jabba (if it was indeed Jabba - never said the name, but it sure was a very Jabba-esque palace on Tatooine) sitting on his dais at his Ep VI size.
I know, I'm nitpicking, but there it is.
